the seaweed planed to be harvested is sub tidal laminaria kelp
the seaweed in the photo is shore sawed and a compleatly different seaweed
 the little lady with here bucket and designer wellys is painting a false picture .
the harvesting of laminaria will have no impact on the shore nor on the amount of laminaria in the area as any one if a idea of seaweed will know they are annual and wlil wash up on the beach at some point over the next year any way
