Natural organic seaweed is only as clean and pure as the location it's harvested from. Here on The Isle of Bute in Scotland, we have just the place for clean fresh naturally pure seaweed.

The north end of the Isle of Bute is perfect. Fast flowing currents of sea water rush in twice a day from the deep waters of the sound of Arran. Countless millions of gallons of fresh rain water runs down from the mountains into Loch Rodden and the kyles of Bute.

This is prime seaweed country.

How we do it
Natural organic Seaweed is carefully harvested from the sea. We do not pick up seaweed from the beach, instead we harvest the seaweed that sits in about 2-3 feet of water, and cut only the top 4 inches of the seaweed plant which is then rinsed, packed and posted the same day so you can pamper yourself in your own home as soon as possible.

How to use natural organic bathing seaweed
Organic skin care or detox follow the same guidelines. Empty a packet of wet or dry bathing detox seaweed into a hot bath or place in a basin or bowl with some hot water, then soak for 10 mins until the seaweed turns green. Next, pour the liquid into your bath or use as a hair treatment, then throw away when finished.

How to keep seaweed fresh
Seaweed will stay fresh if you keep it in the fridge, for between 2 and 4 weeks. If you keep it in the freezer it will keep for up to 6 months.
