st andrews day bash in edinbourgh

Good morning
Well we finally made it back to a snowy Speyside around midnight on Sunday after two very busy days in Edinburgh, I have now finished the washing up and everything is packed away ready for our next road show!
The Cookery Zone was full to capacity for all our presentations and the tasting sessions were well appreciated by our audiences on what turned out to be a very cold and then very wet weekend. The event organisers were delighted with the programme ‘The Full Range Ltd’ had pulled together and were amazed at the range and quality of the products we had on show for the public.
George prepared a Smoked Lamb Salad (Isle of Bute Smokery) using your seaweed with a pear and walnut dressing - it look stunning with the vibrant green sea lettuce - as with all chefs the recipe was made up on the spot with ingredients to hand - but I will get it typed up and send it off to you later in the week.
The other seaweeds we prepared for tasting sessions in little mini quiches teamed up with some lovely smoked haddock, with some very positive feedback.
